    Story Behind the Art:
    Balinese sculptor Wayan Kandiyasa comes from a family of artists. 'My father is a stone carver, who was taught by my grandfather. I make statues and relief work from a stone called 'paras,' and I like both traditional and modern styles. My inspiration comes to me when I am most relaxed and quiet. An image comes to me and I start to work as calmly as possible, trying to keep the original idea as simple as possible.'

    The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
