    Story Behind the Art:
    John Barrow was born in London and settled in Peru in 1969. He learned the wood carver's craft from his father. 'Living in Peru, I got to know a variety of beautiful wood types. When I retired, I was finally able to dedicate myself completely to my passion, carving! I have designed my own machines and tools to help me work the wood in a different way.'
