Fiercely loyal, brave and courageous, Aztec warriors were feared throughout most of pre-Hispanic Mexico. Fascinated by the legendary characters and their exploits, Georgina Cabrera designs this unique mask in their honor. The mask is crafted of ceramic and painted by hand. It features a large headdress to signify social standing.

Story Behind the Art:-
5/21/20    Eight years ago my dream was to be able to attain my financial freedom, the type of freedom which I could give my kids the good things they desire .  Joining Novica has made my dream come true.  I have been able to move from my rented house and I know live in my house with my family, I no longer have to worry about rent fees for work or a place to sleep with my family. I joined Novica on the 22nd may, 2008  I now produce more goods than before because I know I have constant costumers with Novica. My scale in production increase because my demands kept growing , I also employ labour when productions goes to it peak, this gives the young ones the opportunity to build their work experience and learn from me . I had the best seller award from Attang (a local market that distribute our work for sales) .  My company, Sefam production gain recognition for its antiqued finishing . I also made my finishing different from the others , and I kept consistent with it ,at that time everyone was doing a polished finishing and I was the odd one out. The market knew me for the antique finishing. My goal is to have a personal Shop to display only my works to the market and focus on making my son Rockson Nyadezor dream of becoming and chef come to reality. With the help of Novica costumers My two sons are now high school Graduates and I believe my work will help them further their education.  May Novica live forever!!!  Emmanuel Nyadedzor's Biography I was born December, 1960. I consider myself to be a designer in the Art business. I am a hardworking and religious person.  After l completed an Auto body mechanic course in 1987, getting a job was difficult and my parent couldn't afford the high cost of the machine to enable me set up on my own. I struggled by doing menial jobs, but l saved part of the little earnings l made. After some year, I had enough money to buy a small piece of land and raise a wooden store. L didn't know what to sell in this shop. I remember one day, whiles standing in the shop still contemplating on what to do, l saw a young man who was hawking, and selling carved figures. I admired this art work and so I decided to find out from the man how he got such items to sell. All along I thought such art works were imported. I was amazed when I was told was carved locally with the hand. I became curious and wanted to know more. I gathered information on where I could see people actually carve these items. When I finally saw them carve, I was thrilled the way a log of wood could be used to create such interesting and beautiful items. For a start I bought the finished works into my shop and started selling them. Along the line, I met a man who skill was in designing mask. I befriended this man and so when I close my shop I would walk to his workshop and observe the way he designed the mask. With this contact, I decided to by the raw mask to this man to finish them for my shop.  One day, I had a strong argument with this designer friend and I decided I was going to design by myself.
